Mitigation Foreman
Job Summary:
A Mitigation Foreman is responsible to perform all responsibilities of a Mitigation Technician. A Mitigation Foreman is responsible to provide exceptional customer service to clients and adhere to job duties and company policies. A Mitigation Foreman must also lead a team of technicians in performing loss assessments, water extractions, dry-outs, demolition, documentation, technical assistance, and other related services to our clients in a polite, professional, efficient and thorough manner, all while maintaining a solution focused mindset. In addition to these basic responsibilities, a Mitigation Foreman will be expected to lead and will be held accountable for the projects assigned to them in a manner that contributes to the prosperity of the division as a whole.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Be proficient in company policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook
• Complete adherence to company policies and mission statement as
outlined in the Employee Handbook
Responsible to:
o Complete all certifications: Lead, Masks,Reets
o Update and change work processes for all new market and IICRC changes
o Conduct new-hire candidate ride-alongs. Responsible to report to the Mitigation Manager after each ride-along
o Plan, coordinate, and supervise mitigation projects including: Scope identification; subcontractor scheduling; and required equipment, tools, supplies, and labor
o Perform mitigation services during and after-hours
o Train and develop new team members and current team members
o Carry out new team member weekly performance reviews for first
90-day
o Review/oversee dry-logs daily, calling attention to corrections and insuring accuracy
o Conduct self-evaluation/performance reviews every year for all technicians
Responsible for:
o Asset Panda compliance and weekly inspections
o Ensuring safe driving practices,as well as safe work practices of the team as a whole
o Daily Huddles and weekly safety training meetings
o Ensuring the readiness of both themselves and the team for when new jobs come in
o Accurate and timely documentation of each job site's characteristics and the work performed
o Ensuring the team's vehicle readiness, maintenance, and cleanliness
o Equipment serviceability and condition
o Making daily decisions that positively impact efficiencies, readiness, and revenue
Responsible to lead a team to:
o Provide great customer service

Required job tasks:
o Perform necessary mitigation services to clients that reflect company, industry and safety standards
o Responsible to always treat customer with dignity,good manners and respect
o Represent the company consistently in positive terms
o Ensure all dry logs are filled out completely and accurately
o Responsible for operating and securing equipment safely
o Responsible to perform any projects or tasks designated by management
o Set up containment barriers
o Extract water from textiles using approved methods. i.e. water claw and wand
o Demolition of cabinets, vanities, baseboards, drywall, flooring in a neat manner
o Apply general purpose disinfectants, mold and bacteria disinfectants,and treat affected areas accordingly depending on water class
o Safely remove and dispose of category 2 and 3 affected items
o Mitigation Foreman is included in the mandatory Emergency on-call rotation for after hours; Sunday through Saturday
o Able and willing to wear a properly fitted half or full-face respirator is required, which involves being willing to keep one's face clean shaven so masks can operate most safely and effectively
o Responsible to follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean working environment
o Install dehumidifiers and air movers
o Use a moisture meter
o Able to properly demo a room (baseboards and drywall)
o Properly document a water damaged job site by photo
o Pull equipment
o Able to fill out all forms
o Use the dry-out calendar properly
o Understand and explain the full customer road map
o Use a thermal imaging camera
o Other duties may be assigned

Training/Education/Experience:
Formal education is not required. If training and experience is needed to accomplish duties and responsibilities beyond the allotted training period, then the employee must make arrangements with their supervisor to plan for time to train. Employee is expected to be vocal about limitations, and take responsibility for the position by utilizing resources and tools provided to learn job functions and execute tasks.
Language Ability:
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints as they relate to your duties from customers,regulatory agencies,or members of staff. Ability to write professional emails and correspond articulately with clients and members of staff.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word;Google Drive,internet software,and company communication forums.
Work Environment:
Employee should expect and uphold a work environment that is professional, fast paced, with a moderate noise level. Employee will be in the private homes of clients and should therefore expect to find themselves in a variety of environments.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to drive a company vehicle, lift heavy equipment (approximately 80+lbs), and be in environments where contaminated air is or may be present.
