Medical Assistant
Description of Job Duties:
Rooming patients and collecting chief complaint information
Interacting and documenting in an electronic health record daily
Processing lab requisitions
Assisting providers with procedures and examinations
Cleaning and restocking patient exam rooms
Responding to phone calls and scheduling patients
Scheduling ancillary services for patients
Transferring to multiple locations when necessary
Other tasks assigned as necessary, such as answering phone calls, scanning, scheduling patients, filling orders, etc.

A minimum of two (2) years of experience in health care and patient services as an active medical assistant
Strong customer service skills and positive patient interaction
Teamwork and positive attitude.
Ability to prioritize and multitask, including handling a high volume of patient/provider needs and interactions
Must have insurance and industry knowledge
Proficient with computer skills and oral and written communication
Must pass a full Criminal, Credit and Drug Background check
