Medical Assistant Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care and support our healthcare professionals in an outpatient clinic setting. We are looking for someone that is professional, speaks well (bi-lingual is a Plus), very much a Team player and has 2-3 years experience as a Medical Assistant in an Internal Medicine / Primary Care medical Practice.

Position Summary:

Internal Medicine Physician located in Boca Raton, FL seeks Full-Time Medical Assistant with Athenahealth experience. This is a position that offers a Monday through Friday Full-Time schedule and a great starting hourly rate.

Provide overall support for Physicians and office operations

Prepare patients for examination and treatment

Take patient histories and vital signs

Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments

Give injections and assists with lab testing and Phlebotomy

Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization

Assist physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals

Assist with scheduling of tests and treatments

Screen telephone calls for referral to physician

Required Qualifications :

Requirements

Working Knowledge and proficiency with Athenahealth, EKG and phlebotomy (Blood draws)

Proven excellence in Customer Service

Years of Experience

2 - 3 years +
