Home Health Scheduling Coordinator
Medicare certified Home Health Agency, well established (15+ yrs) in the South Florida area seeks Home Health Scheduling Coordinator. Candidate would be responsible for coordinating caregivers for patient visits, maintaining scheduling records and log books. Timely and accurate communication of scheduling changes between office and field staff is essential.
Ideal Candidates must be able to confidently:
Answer office phones, using empathy and good judgement
Verify license, references, credentials and education of caregivers, maintain records
Manage caregiver absences to cover all patients
Ensure timely staffing and scheduling visits for field staff in their appropriate areas per physician orders.
Assign re-evals, supervisory visits, discharge OASIS, etc. as needed.
Maintain a current client and caregiver roster with necessary information.
Provide effective communication to clients, their families, team members, and other health care professionals.
All other duties Assigned
• At least one (1) year experience in Home Health Care Scheduling.
Excellent Verbal and Written Communication.
Microsoft Office Suite
Oasis experience is a plus.
Command of the English Language.
