High Voltage Substation Electrician
We are seeking an Experienced HV Substation Electrician.
Lead the assembly of three pole 230kV disconnect switches, Mark V S&C circuit switchers, and bend & install bus bar.
You will be performing non-NEC structural/electrical work inside high voltage substations learning to install steel structures, porcelain insulators, high voltage Equipment, assembly of high voltage gang operated switches, pulling control cable, and other work required to construct and modify substations.
At times weekend and overnight work is required when clearances are available.

To qualify for this position
Must have hands on experience performing this work inside energized high voltage substations.
Thorough knowledge of substation construction.
Four years of experience as an Electrician is required.
Out of town travel for work is required. Emergency work is required.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and push or pull heavy objects.
May use a handling device (dolly, cart, etc.) or work with another team member to lift and/or move excessively heavy objects.
Ability to differentiate between colors for identifying color-coded wiring.
Ability to communicate effectively using speaking, hearing, writing, and vision skills.
Ability to bend, stoop, squat, climb and walk frequently.
Must have clear background check, clear valid driver's license and your own reliable transportation.
