Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Mechanical Engineer
ATTENTION: Recently Graduated Electrical Engineers or Recently Graduated Mechanical Engineers WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU!!!
The scope of work includes but is not limited to the following:
Programming Devices utilizing company provided laptop and vendor-based applications
Work with device data and prepare reports.
Perform device operational checks utilizing approved processes.
Perform site pre-checks to include physical site accessibility and validation of construction standards followed by installation crews
Validation of field testing with office personnel to confirm appropriate levels of communications response and accuracy of point mapping.
Perform final commissioning and certification.
Troubleshoot 'in service' devices which have gone into an abnormal state.
Support data gathering on in-service devices. This would require remotely accessing devices with laptops.
Must have transportation to multiple equipment sites daily. Valid FL drivers license and clean driving record. Mileage paid.
An Electrical Engineering Degree from a 4 year university or college in the United States.
Knowledge of high voltage power systems.
Knowledge of electrical utility distribution feeder systems and substations.
Ability to work with software to program devices.
Requires that you have transportation.
Ability to strictly follow procedures.
Candidates must be computer savvy, process oriented, and ready to learn at a fast pace.
