Job Description :
We are a well established Home Health agency searching for an exceptional Private Duty Home Health RN Director of Nursing for ou upcoming new location in Naples, Florida. This individual should be be experienced and passionate about one-on-one care and very familiar with the steps involved in establishing a new location. You will be under the supervision of our current Administrator in Boca Raton who recently headed up the opening of that office over a year ago. The initial function is for you to be the local presence in the Naples area and to the facilitator in the steps needed to accomplish a successful opening..
As things progress your position will evolve into the customary role of the Director of Nursing...Initially you will be hired under a 20 hour per week retainer with a very lucrative hourly rate. Compensation will be guaranteed for the 20 hours whether worked or not. Anything over, will be compensated at the established rate.
As the Director of Nursing, you will provide direct care to members and their families establishing the plan of care to encourage a multidisciplinary approach to care. It is the role of the Director of Nursing to train, maintain caregiver competency, oversee and / or assume the duties of a case manager, and ensure compliance with all Medicare guidelines in relation to Private duty care.
