Concrete Finisher

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing and related construction skills. This role involves working on sub-station construction and the preparation of concrete surfaces and foundations finished to the highest standards. The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for executing tasks with precision and attention to detail while adhering to safety protocols.

• Prepare and set up work areas for concrete pouring, including laying out forms and reinforcing materials.


• Pour, and finish concrete surfaces, ensuring smoothness and uniformity.


• Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely and effectively during the finishing process.


• Perform tile laying as needed in conjunction with concrete work.


• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues that may arise during the finishing process.


• Read and interpret schematics to ensure accurate execution of project plans.


• Apply caulking as necessary to seal joints and prevent water intrusion.


• Lift heavy materials as required, demonstrating strength and stamina throughout the workday.


• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in concrete finishing or a related field is essential.


• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred.


• A clear CDL / Driving record is required.


• Strong mechanical knowledge to assist in building and renovating structures.


• Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.


• Physical capability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly throughout the day.


• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship are crucial for success in this role.


• A valid driver's license may be required for transportation to various job sites.
