Clinical Manager: Private Duty

One of South Florida’s leading Home Health agencies seeks a RN Clinical Manager for their Palm Beach county, FL office along with working directly with the Veterans Administration (VA) in West Palm Beach. This position will require an acute sense of attention to detail. Additionally, the successful candidate will have experience with and understand clinically the back office functions of the private duty home health cycle.

As a Clinical Manager (RN), you will work with referral sources from the healthcare community to plan and direct services to meet the needs of individuals and families in their homes. You will be responsible for overseeing a multi disciplinary team of nurses and therapists while providing a high level of customer service and ensuring we provide the highest quality care.

Prior Home Care experience is necessary

Duties will include:

• Reviewing all admissions.


• Occasionally conducting on-site evaluations.


• Reviewing cases, participating in staff orientations.


• Identify staff needs and specialty areas of staff education.


• Accurately code all cases to ICD-10 coding guidelines.


• Evaluate disciplines ordered and frequency of visits to ensure optimal outcomes and agency profitability.


• Implement and monitor compliance with rules and regulations set by Federal and state regulatory agencies.


• Accreditation requirements and policy and procedures set by agency.


• Effective team work and communication.


• Meet time requirements of processing and progress notes to determine consistency with supporting medical documentation.

Requirements:

• A valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.


• A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution or a Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration is preferred.


• Proven experience in nursing leadership or management in a home health setting


• In-depth knowledge of home health regulations, accreditation standards, and best practices.


• Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.


• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) and other healthcare software.


• Valid Driver's License and auto insurance.


• Valid and current CPR certification.
