Certified X-Ray Technician
-Perform 2 view cervical, lumbar and thoracic x-rays
-Flexion Extension X-rays
-AP lateral X-rays
-Perform a 4 view cervical and lumbar x-rays
-Extremity X-rays
-How to cross the x-ray into Paxera
-Prepare upcoming injections list (check order against plan, blood thinners and clearance status if necessary, allergies , authorization requirements and status).
-Perform Vitals( BP, Pulse, Temperature)
-Consent the patient and post op instruction based on procedure.
-Check INR
-Verify patient, Injection order, blood thinners, allergies, and auth status prior to placing the patient on the table
-Prep patient for injection (TFESI, ESI, MBB, RFA, Kyphoplasty, Sacroplasty, etc)
-Position patient per injection protocol
-Perform C-Arm as per injection or provider (Ziehms and GE)
-Stryker RFA machine (probes and how to operate)
-Medtronic RFA Machine (probes and how to operate)
-Room Inventory, stocking, and ordering.
-Sterilizer and maintenance at each location
-Completion of notes
-Logging all procedures
-X-ray badge ordering
-Sphere for Lumbar Fusion pre op
-Verify at the end of day all injections went over to Paxera from C-Arm
-Risk management for injection room
-Train and back up MA as needed
-Bachelor's or associate's degree in radiologic technology, radiology, or a related field
-Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
-Appropriate state licensure
-Proven experience working as an X-ray technician
-Knowledge of Emergency Medical Equipment
-Ability to move or lift patients
-A patient and compassionate disposition
