Job Description :

Local insurance company is looking for a full-time, customer-oriented service representative to support their team while working from home. A customer service representative, or CSR, will act as a liaison, provide product/services information and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency. The best CSRs are genuinely excited to help customers. They’re patient, empathetic, and passionately communicative. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction.




This full-time position comes with excellent bonuses. This position is mainly remote, however, individual must live within driving distance of Jupiter, FL as travel may occasionally be required. Individual MUST be able to work from home effectively.




Responsibilities



  • Manage agency accounts from a service perspective

  • Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction

  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication

  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools

  • Meet customer service team proficiencies

  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution

  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents

  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies

  • Go the extra mile to engage customers


 


Required Qualifications :

Required Skills:



  • Proven customer support experience as a CSR

  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred


 


Experience:



  • 3+ years of experience in health insurance

  • Experience with group medical plans

  • Experience dealing with carriers (NON-Medicare)

  • 2-15 Life & Health License
