Job Description :
Home Health Agency in Jupiter, Florida seeks an Administrative Assistant to assist in maintaining adequate efficiency of staff recruitment and client scheduling. 




ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 


 


Management of Employee Hiring Process:


• Answering office phones, with adequate decision making and judgment


• Evaluating applicants understanding of job requirements


• Scheduling initial interviews and completing new hire paperwork


• Assisting with new hire training process


• Gathering required background information and essential documents


• Verifying of license, references, and education


• Ensuring employees are in compliance with state and federal guidelines


• Maintaining hard copy and electronic employee files in computer database


• Managing absences to ensure that all shifts are staffed 



Assist with the Management of Client Staffing Process:
• Ensuring client/employee compatibility with staffing of shifts


• Scheduling of shifts and entering into computer database


• Collecting and Verifying weekly time-sheets


• Answering on-call phone after hours and on weekends



Required Qualifications :
Good computer skills (Internet and Word essential, Excel preferred). 

Requires familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. 

Excellent phone voice - must be able to hear a smile.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.


Must be highly motivated, a self-starter, detail oriented and capable of working autonomously with strong organization and problem-solving skills.
